Jeff Sutera is a New York based cinematographer and photographer. Growing up in his family’s basement darkroom, surrounded by photographers, he had a camera in his hand from a young age and started making home videos on his grandfather’s old VHS camera.

His work moves between commercial and editorial projects, portraiture, and spontaneous personal projects. Influenced by candid, quiet moments and the spaces in between, his approach changes from project to project. Sometimes polished and considered, sometimes instinctive and unplanned.

Selected clients include Adidas, Jordan, Converse, Stella McCartney, David Yurman, Calzedonia, J.Crew, TUMI, Willy Chavarria, Free People, Sports Illustrated, and Barneys New York Korea, among others.
